Moto E5, E5 Plus and E5 Play smartphones launched: Price, specs
Motorola not only launched the Moto G6 series in an event at Sao Paulo, Brazil but also launched three other smartphones in its budget E series. The series now includes the Moto E5, E5 Plus and the E5 Play. While the Moto E5costs EUR 149, the E5 Plus is priced at EUR 169. The price for the E5 Play has not been revealed yet.
Moto E5 Plus specifications
Moto E5 Plus runs Android 8.0 Oreo and has a 6-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) resolution IPS LCD display. The handset comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card. The device sports a fingerprint sensor and is backed by a massive 5000mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging support. Available in Black, Flash Grey, Mineral Blue and Fine Gold colour variants, the smartphone has front-facing speakers and FM Radio support. As for the camera, the Moto E5 Plus consists of a 12MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The Moto E5 features a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, clubbed with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage. The handset also supports microSD card up to 128GB. Backed by a 4000mAh battery, the Moto E5 also has a fingerprint sensor and has a front-facing speaker. There is a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP front-facing camera.

Moto E5 Play includes a smaller 5.2-inch HD (1280x720 pixels) resolution and runs Android 8.0 Oreo. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425/427 processor along with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB. There is a fingerprint sensor on board with a front-ported speaker. The handset has an 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP front-facing camera as well. Backed by a 2800mAh battery, the E5 Play is available in Black, Dark Blue and Flash Grey colour variants.
